Sales Assistant needed for a gift shop in airport.
Job Summary:
The Sales Assistant will support the sales team and ensure excellent customer service by assisting customers, maintaining product displays, processing sales transactions, and contributing to the overall success of the store or sales department. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and passionate about sales and service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features, pricing, and promotions.
Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback effectively.
Support visual merchandising and ensure product displays are attractive and up-to-date.
Monitor stock levels and assist with restocking and inventory management.
Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed sales targets.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and store standards.
Prepare daily sales reports and communicate insights to the Sales Manager.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Proven experience in sales, retail, or customer service (preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Basic computer and POS system skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Positive attitude and a passion for customer satisfaction.
